4 SCS1 Deputy Director, London Constitution and Politics Group (CPG) is responsible for advising on the implementation of the agreements and on other constitutional and devolution issues, and on providing advice and analysis to Ministers and officials on the political climate in Northern Ireland. CPG is comprised of approximately 35 staff, working in both Belfast and London. CPG looks after policy relating to Northern Ireland election and human rights, and has some responsibility for equality matters. It sponsors the Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission, the Boundary Commission for Northern Ireland, and the Electoral Office for Northern Ireland.
