Summary

Water Environment (Water Framework Directive) Regulations River Basin Management Plan Cycle 3 Infaunal Quality Index classification data used for the UK Marine Strategy Article 8 biodiversity assessments for the UK Regional Seas. The WER Infaunal Quality Index method statement and classification tool ('IQI Workbook UKTAG v02 20140311.xlsm' and ‘IQI Workbook UKTAG v02 20221214.xlsm’) used to calculate WER Ecological Quality Ratios are available at http://www.wfduk.org/resources%20/coastal-and-transitional-waters-benthic-invertebrate-fauna. Project coordinated by the Environment Agency and Joint Nature Conservation Committee. River Basin Management Plan Cycle 3 benthic invertebrate data held by the relevant WER Agency.
