Summary

Since January 2011, Eastern IFCA have carrried out foot surveys at Horseshoe Point, Lincolnshire for the purpose of a cockle (Cerastoderma edule) stock assessment and monitoring, and to assess the possibility of opening the fishery if deemed viable. The surveys have been carried out bi-annually where possible, otherwise surveys have been conducted annually.
