It is acknowledged that different suppliers will have different preferences and techniques for manufacturing so itis anticipated that a series of detailed design meetings will take place to agree the definitive design of the mirrorposition adjustment systems. The supplier will then produce a set of detailed drawings to present to DLS for finalapproval at FDR prior to commencing manufacture.
The optics will be installed at DLS on a remotely controlled positioning system and operated under very highvacuum (VHV) conditions. The mirrors are to be UHV compatible.
