This dataset provides a list of applications received by APHA for the issue of an animal licence for a bovine or porcine animal for semen collection in England during 2015. The animal licence for bovine animals permits entry into an approved semen quarantine/collection centre for semen collection or for semen collection on an unlicensed premises. The animal licence for porcine animals permits entry into an approved quarantine/collection centre for semen collection. Semen collection can be used for Intra-union Trade or Domestic use dependent on the type of licence issued. The type of licence is identified by the acronyms EC for Intra-union trade within the 28 Member States of the European Union, DOM for Domestic trade within Great Britain or UP for Unlicensed Premises for Domestic Trade within Great Britain.
