Summary

Marine epibenthic (mobile species only) data quantified in June 2024 at an offshore mussel farm in Lyme Bay using baited remote underwater video systems (BRUVs). At each survey site/station three replicate 45 minute baited remote underwater video (BRUV) system deployments were made. Sites/stations based on previous survey experience in the area. Data will be used to help assess the ecological impact of the mussel farm by comparing benthic species diversity and abundance to nearby control sites with the aim to inform the future management and implementation of aquaculture installations.
