This document contains methodology for producing the Annex I Sandbanks dataset for the Article 17 2019 reporting round. 'Sandbank' here refers to the habitat (1110) listed under Annex I of EC Directive 92/43/EEC of 21 May 1992 on the conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora – commonly known as the Habitats Directive.
