Summary

This publication sets out the main findings from the second national sample survey of parents of disabled children in England. This was conducted between July and November 2009 on the Department's behalf by the British Market Research Bureau (BMRB). The primary purpose of the survey is to measure parental experience of services for disabled children and provide a 2009-10 score for the national performance indicator 5 for the Public Service Agreement on Child Health and Wellbeing (PSA 12). The secondary purpose of the survey is to provide 2009-10 figures for the large majority of local authorities and Primary Care Trusts (PCTs).
