Two folders of images taken during fieldwork funded by this IRF, along with one publication (McMahon et al., 2021) that include images or data arising from the Hopeall and Duntara sites visited during this trip, and two further publications (Liu and Dunn, 2020; and Dunn et al., 2019) in the LC6 folder arising from work at that locality. Photographs document late Ediacaran fossil specimens, sedimentological sections, and localities on the Bonavista and Avalon Peninsulas of Newfoundland, Canada. Folders are arranged by peninsula, then locality. Individual folders contain images of fossil taxa including Charnia, Arumberia, Aspidella, Bradgatia, Pectinifrons, Culmofrons, Fractofusus and Primocandelabrum. Photographs were taken to document fossil specimens and sedimentary successions, to gather primary data for projects conducted as part of the IRF, particularly research into the nature of filamentous fossils on Ediacaran bedding planes (see Liu & Dunn, 2020). Photomaps were also created for the MUN and LC6 surfaces. These images will be useful to geoscientists with an interest in Ediacaran macropalaeontology.
