Three folders of images taken during fieldwork funded by this IRF, along with one publication (Liu & Tindal, 2021) that include images and data arising from this trip. Photographs document late Ediacaran fossil specimens, sedimentological sections, and localities on the Bonavista and Avalon Peninsulas of Newfoundland, Canada. Gaskiers sections are all on the Avalon Peninsula of Newfoundland. Herring Cove and the Trinity Diamictite sections were all on the Bonavista Peninsula. The primary target during this field season was mid-Ediacaran glacial deposits of the Gaskiers Formation and the Trinity ‘Facies’ (within the Rocky Harbour Formation). Some fossils were found beneath the Trinity diamictite, of the genus Palaeopascichnus, as seen in the Herring Cove and Trinity East sub-folders (reported in Liu & Tindal, 2021). Photographs were taken to document sedimentary successions and fossil specimens relating to the mid-Ediacaran Gaskiers glaciation event, to gather primary data for projects conducted as part of the IRF, and for Ben Tindal’s PhD thesis.
