Summary

The Environment Agency collects water quality data each year from May to September, to ensure that designated bathing water sites on the coast and inland are safe and clean for swimming and other activities. This data is provided through an Application Programming Interface (API) as a data service and is reusable and accessible to developers and to members of the public. It is published as linked data but also available in other forms including CSV and JSON. See API and data model documentation for detail plus access to data dumps and data slices.
