Data about investments in social programmes by Big Issue Invest.
This data set relates to the Corporate Social Venturing (CSV) programme which is run by Big Issue Invest and the following partners: Barclays, Experian, First Ark, Fusion 21, Places for People, University of Northampton, Ashurst LLP and the Cabinet Office (Social Incubator Fund). The programme is designed specifically for early stage social businesses operating in England and aims to develop them through corporate mentoring and investment. The data here relates to; the number and types of organisations on programme, their legal structures, the beneficiaries that they themselves support and the type & quantity of finance they have received.
