Summary

In-situ water samples collected from the Western Nordic seas between November 2023 and October 2025 from moorings deployed on the Autumn 2024 and Winter 2025 ROVER cruises as part of the Dissolved Organic matter subduction and transport along the east Greenland Margin (DOGMA) project. The water samples will be used to investigate how overturning processes in the Nordic Seas inject vast amounts of dissolved organic carbon (DOC) into the deep ocean. The organisations contributing to these datasets are the School of Ocean and Earth Science at the University of Southampton, the National Oceanography Centre (NOC) and the Scottish Association for Marine Science (SAMS) under the NERC Grant Reference NE/Y002709/1.
