(common) and algae Chaetomorpha (frequent), Plocamium (rare). Ulva and Enteromorpha sp. (rare) attatched to odd stones and shells. Hydrallmania present but may be drift. Mytilus concentrated on outer edges of castellation. Marked halocline at 1.5-2.0m. No other algae present. Carcinus maenus common on the wall. Littorina littorea occasional at the bottom of the wall.
