Summary

Coccolith abundance and morphometric data for 4 ODP/DSDP sites (594, 982, 999, 1090) of 2 age brackets (Pleistocene and Pliocene) that have been run through the classification software SYRACO (SYstème de Reconnaissance Automatique de COccolithes. Full assemblage counts as well as morphological measurements for each specimen (area, feret max, feret min, thickness and mass). The images these measurements were completed on are also included. Ocean Drilling Program (ODP) Site 982 (57°30.992'N, 15°52.001'W; 1134m water depth) located in the North Atlantic Ocean, on the Rockall Plateau. Ocean Drilling Program (ODP) Site 1090 (42°54.5 ′ S, 8°54.0 ′ E; 3702m water depth) located in the South Atlantic Ocean on the southern flank of the Agulhas Ridge. Deep Sea Drilling Project (DSDP) Site 594 (45°31.41'S; 174°56.88'E; 1204m water depth) located on the southern margin of Chatham Rise, to the east of the South Island of New Zealand. ODP Site 999 (12°44'N, 78°44'W) located on the Kogi Rise in the Colombian Basin of the southwestern Caribbean Sea
