This dataset contains the Listed Buildings within the City of London. Listed buildings are legally protected for their special architectural and/or historic interest. The older a building is, the more likely it is to be listed. Any alterations to a listed building may require Listed Building Consent from the Local Planning Authority. Listing helps us acknowledge and understand our shared history.
