This British Geological Survey (BGS) marine sampling survey took place in 1971 along the Moray Firth coastline. The purpose was to collect beach samples as part of an offshore regional geological mapping programme. Beach samples were collected by hand. These data are archived by BGS. Technical details of the survey are contained in BGS Internal Report ?????.
