Data drawn from a termly voluntary survey of English local authorities on the number of two-year-olds receiving a funded early learning place. Survey designed to help the Department monitor progress in implementing the new programme of early learning for two-year-olds until information can be collected in the Early Years and Schools Censuses from the January 2014 censuses onwards.
