Summary

The data shows the Regionally Important Geological Sites (now known as Local Geological Sites) as identified in the four existing Local Plans covering the East Riding. The data is likely to be replaced following the adoption of the East Riding Local Plan expected in the 1st quarter of 2015. The data was originally provided to the Council in paper form via the East Yorkshire RIGs Group. Although every attempt has been made to identify all such locations within the East Riding of Yorkshire there may be some that have been overlooked. If in any doubt, please consult the original paper plans.
