In 2021, a complete airborne LiDAR survey of the Northern Ireland coastline was commissioned as part of the NI 3D Coastal Survey, providing precise and accurate data of the current coastal morphology.
The survey included the intertidal area and extended approximately 200 meters landward of the high-water mark.
