This dataset contains details of post-mortem examinations of Ruddy Ducks shot during the UK Ruddy Duck Eraddication Programme. Dead birds were collected in the field and examined under under laboraory conditions. In each case the sex of each bird was recorded, as was the age class. Other data such as moult stage and weight were also recorded for a sample of the birds. Key to data: Age Class 1 = unfledged juvenile; Age Class 3 = fledged juvenile (less than approximately 10 months old); Age Class 4 = adult bird, precise age unknown Attribution statement: ©Crown Copyright, APHA 2016
