This dataset covers Import Licences issued by APHA for Live Animals other than dogs, cats and ferrets covered by The Rabies (Importation of Dogs, Cats and Other Mammals) Order 1974 (as amended). The dataset covers both licences for animals to enter quarantine and licences where the need for quarantine has been waived following individual risk assessments by APHA. The dataset also covers the date the application was received, the number and species of animal imported, the country of origin of the animal, the rabies status of the country of origin at the time the licence was issued and also the date the licence was issued.
