Eleven folders of images taken during a museum collection visit funded by this IRF, along with one publication (Dunn et al., 2017) arising from the IRF that include images taken during this visit. Photographs document late Ediacaran fossil specimens within the collections of the PIN. Folders are arranged by taxon. Taxa include Andiva, Charnia, Dickinsonia (4 species), Ivovicia, Kimberella, Yorgia, and the trace fossil Epibaion. Photographs are arranged such that, where available, any labels with locality information, identification, and accession number of individual specimens precede images of each individual specimen. Data result from NERC grant NE/L011409/2 Constraining the origins of the Metazoa: Insights from ichnology, palaeoecology and taphonomy. Photographs were taken to document fossil specimens, and to obtain images of type material of the taxa Andiva, Yorgia and Dickinsonia menneri for specific projects.
