Summary

PROMs measures health gain in patients undergoing hip replacement, knee replacement, varicose vein and groin hernia surgery in England, based on responses to questionnaires before and after surgery. High-level national figures are published monthly for each of the two financial years currently being updated. Full releases, with additional analysis tools and reusable data packs, are published four times a year - usually in February, May, August and November. Publications are provisional until the data set is declared finalised. An annual publication is produced for each final data year, including a full report with extended analyses.
