Four 0.01m2 cores were taken at each intertidal site and four 0.05m2 Van Veen Grabs at each subtidal site. The survey was carried out in September 1990 by the NRA South West Region. Samples were also taken for particle size analysis and organic carbon/nitrogen analysis.
