Summary

Development Limits (also known as Settlement Boundaries). Development limits drawn around settlements defined in planning policy have been used for many years to differentiate where settlement or countryside policies apply in order to manage settlement growth. They form part of each former District within North Yorkshire Council Area (excluding National Parks). Note: There are no Development Limits for the current (former) Craven District Council Local Plan.
