This dataset contains a collation of marine habitat and species biotope records that contribute to designated Marine Protected Area (MPA) features. This includes Marine Conservation Zone (MCZ) species/habitats of conservation importance (SOCI/HOCI) and broadscale habitat (BSH); Special Protection Area (SPA) supporting habitat; and Special Areas of Conservation (SAC) features/subfeatures. This is because it contains third party records. Please note the Open Government Licence records have been extracted and are publicly available for download via the separate 'Marine Habitats and Species Open Data' entry.
