The data used in the MPS Violence Against Women and Girls Dashboard is available here MPS Violence Against Women and Girls Dashboard | Metropolitan Police, along with the related data definitions. Please note that datasets are updated monthly by the 2nd of the month. Data runs until the end of the month prior. This release contains aggregated VAWG (Violence Against Women and Girls) data to ensure confidentiality and protect individuals due to the sensitive nature of the subject matter. The publication is split into two high‑level datasets: 1. Offence‑based dataset This dataset summarises recorded offences and is provided in two worksheets: Location – aggregated counts by BCU, borough and ward. Classification – aggregated counts by offence classification, including Crimsec groupings and VAWG categories. 2. Victim‑based dataset This dataset summarises victim information and is provided in three worksheets: Location – victim counts by BCU, borough and ward. Age – victim counts grouped by age band. Ethnicity – victim counts grouped by ethnicity. All information has been aggregated to address disclosure risk and support safe, responsible public use of the data.
