Broad landscape character areas have been identified, and areas designated as sensitive or restoration landscapes by the Council through the Landscape Character SPD (2010). They are a material consideration in the planning process. This spatial dataset represents the total area designated as Landscape Character Tract Units within Redcar and Cleveland.
