Summary

A dataset of safe places in Leeds. What is a safe place? A Safe Place is somewhere a person with a learning disability can go and ask for help if they are lost, frightened or in difficulty, however a safe place may also be used by other vulnerable groups such as those with dementia, children, etc. A user looks for the Safe Place logo being displayed in a nearby window and show their membership card there. The staff at the Safe Place then telephone the number on the card and speak to someone who can assist. Further information If you are an organisation interested in becoming a registered safe place, want to join the scheme or find out more: http://www.aspirecbs.org.uk/aspire-safe-places#device
