Summary

This marine geophysical survey took place in September 2000 in Loch Etive on board the RV Calanus. The British Geological Survey (BGS) carried out the survey on behalf of Scottish Association for Marine Science (SAMS). Its purpose was to investigate Late Quaternary Sedimentation in a Glacially-Overdeepened Sea Loch. Sub bottom seismic profiling data were gathered using a surface tow boomer. Gravity cores were obtained but none are held by BGS. Technical details of the survey are contained in the Cruise Report.
