Summary

[This dataset is embargoed until January 4, 2027]. This dataset contains sediment deposition and suspended sediment data which were sampled at one eroding and one prograding salt marsh tidal creek at Caerlaverock, Scotland in 2023. Water level recordings were taken from pressure loggers attached to the suspended sediment samplers in the tidal creek. Reference sediment samples were taken from the salt marsh and adjacent mudflat. Data were collected to determine if sediment deposition onto salt marsh flat from the tidal creeks is different depending on the erosional/accretional state of the salt marsh.
