Detailed survey completed by MNCR, SNH staff and contractor of the Western Approaches of the Sound of Mull and the whole of the Ardnamurchan Peninsular. Predominantly rocky substrata surveyed with a few sediment sites recorded. Some dives accompanied by Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV). Biomar completed sonar and video tow surveys the month previous. New diver cores were used with an area of 0.0033m2 (6.5cm internal diameter). Records currently considered sensitive have been removed from this dataset.
