Based on the Thurrock Landfill Layer derived from the Environment Agency Eastern region dataset this polygon layer is used for building/planning constraints when building are proposed near landfill sites.
It's main purpose is to warn of the possibility of lateral methane/landfill gas migration at locations outside the landfill but within the 250 metre buffer region.
