Summary

The Wildlife Incident Investigation Scheme makes enquiries into the death or illness of wildlife, pets and beneficial invertebrates that may have resulted from pesticide poisoning. Approximately 100 incidents are recorded each year under WIIS. Summary reports of the scheme are published on-line quarterly. The dataset includes some personal information and address details, the incident details including location; unsubstantiated ‘allegations’ naming individuals (for reported concerns) and the results of the investigation.
